Natalie Dormer offers her support to help save Anne Boleyn’s portrait!

Natalie Dormer as Queen Anne Boleyn

I am delighted to share with you that British actress Natalie Dormer, well known for her role as Anne Boleyn in Showtime’s The Tudors, has pledged her support to the fundraising efforts for the restoration of Anne Boleyn’s National Portrait Gallery portrait.

Not only this but she is also delighted to endorse ‘Save Anne Boleyn’s Portrait‘ page on Facebook and has offered these kind words of encouragement:

“It is imperative that we maintain this definitive portrait of Anne Boleyn for posterity. It is the closest history will allow us to get to a visual image of this inspiring, brave woman. I am delighted to endorse this page and give my support to the fundraising for the restoration.”

It doesn’t stop here! Natalie Dormer has also offered to donate a very special personal item for auction. I cannot reveal the full details yet as I am awaiting confirmation on a few things but all will be revealed soon!

I sincerely thank Natalie for her generosity!

More on this soon.

  1. Aw, she’s so awesomely awesome!
Natalie Dormer is such a beautiful, profound, phenomenal actress and woman and I cannot believe that even though she’s moved past The Tudors and her portrayal as the vivacious Anne Boleyn, she still takes her work with her and brings it to life. It’s a promising feeling to known and recognize people like the brilliant Natalie Dormer. She dons this intangible aura that I love so much….
She’s a practical Goddess and I have been a fan of her since her outstanding, unbeatable performance and the Anne Boleyn in The Tudors.
Yay. Hope Natalie reads this and is satisfied with what I have to say.
    Thanks, Nat! 🙂

    Good job Natalie Dormer!

  4. D Houll says:

What a terrible choice for Anne Boleyn. Natalie Dormer looks nothing like the descriptions or portraits of Anne. Her eyes are very light whereas Anne’s were famously dark and one of her known features!
