Episode 53 – Talking Tudors: The Halloween Special

Halloween is, of course, the season for ghost stories and tales of spine-tingling encounters with the unknown. In this special edition of Talking Tudors, Natalie Grueninger begins by recounting a strange experience that she had during a holiday in Dover. She then chats to author Sandra Vasoli about something eerie that happened to her during a three-night stay at Thornbury Castle. Natalie also speaks with novelist Adrienne Dillard about how an evening of fun and frivolity with family and friends at Hever Castle, ended with something very strange caught on camera.

In straftford Uoin Avon my husband and I were trying to get as room, it was very busy. We finally tried the tudor inn, there was one room left it was a big Room the man asked what we could pay, because I said I think it maybe too much for us, but he said we could have the room for what we said.. It was a fabulous room it was four poster and I read a book on the building and it said and now the ghosts, I think there was a drummer boy, and dog and. Serving maid. It was a spooky room a strange atmosphere the ensuite was along a Corridor, and I felt, quite strangle quite nervous about going. In the middle of the night I opened my eyes to see a serving girl standing dressed in medieval style clothes brown and beige with long brown hair she was at the foot of the bed holding onto one if the four posters, my husbands hand was waving in a strange way I grabbed his hand and when I looked back, she had gone. What do you think was I dreaming?
