Booking Terms & Conditions

We are delighted that you have chosen to join us ‘In the Footsteps of Anne Boleyn’ and are committed to offering you personalised service second to none.

We do ask that you read these booking conditions carefully as they are not negotiable.

Travel insurance

All tour members are required to take out full travel insurance to cover you in case of delay, theft, flight cancellations, lost baggage, illness etc. Cancellation charges do apply if you cancel your place and so we ask you to consider the dates and itinerary carefully.

We do not offer any compensation if you miss the tour due to delayed flights or other events that are beyond our control. Neither will compensation be offered for any missed tours, meals or activities whilst on the tour.

Registration

To book a place on our exclusive tour you are required to fill out the booking form and email or post to On the Tudor Trail.

Please note there are only 20 places on the tour and bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

# Please note that if you are booking a place within 4 months of the commencement of the tour, the full cost of the tour is payable immediately.

Phyical & Medical Conditions

This tour is intended for adults.

Please keep in mind that visiting historic locations requires a lot of walking, at times up to 4 km per day. Many of these locations have stairs, cobbled walkways, uneven flooring and require a reasonable amount of fitness.

Several of the excursions require extended periods of travel on board the coach.

If you have a medical condition, allergies or special needs that might affect your ability to participate in the tour please contact us before booking and we will endeavour to accommodate your needs.

If you have special dietary requirements please advise us on the booking form.

Currency

All payments are to be made in Great British Pounds.

Cancellation Charges

Returning a signed booking form means that you have entered into a legally binding contract with On the Tudor Trail that if cancelled will incur charges.

Once your 15% deposit has been paid you have 10 days from the time that we acknowledge receipt of payment via email in which cancellation is permissible without incurring a cancellation charge, only if the tour is not commencing within the following 4 months.

Cancellation after 10 days of booking: 15% deposit retained.

Cancellation on or after June 2, 2012: 100% cost of tour.

A minimum of 20 participants is required for the tour to go ahead, if we do not reach the minimum amount then we reserve the right to cancel the tour in which case you will receive a full refund.

Changes to the Itinerary

On the Tudor Trail reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, we will endeavour to maintain the published itinerary and will inform you in writing if changes are necessary.

Photography and Video

We will be photo documenting the tour and reserve the right to publish photos and video on our website (On the Tudor Trail). Please advise us in writing before the commencement of the tour if you would prefer not to be included.

Additional Information

As outlined in our Dates & Costs section, air travel from you country of origin to London is not included in the cost of the tour. We recommend that you check the airline booking conditions carefully and familiarise yourself with their cancellation policy, as this tour may be cancelled if minimum numbers are not reached.

Please check visa requirements carefully, as nationals of certain countries require a visa to travel to the United Kingdom.

On the Tudor Trail also recommends that you arrive in London before the commencement of the tour in case of a delay or cancellation to your flight.

To ensure an enjoyable time for all tour participants we ask that you refrain from smoking during our guided tours, meals and presentations.

We also ask that you be considerate towards other tour members and behave in a manner that will not impinge on the comfort and enjoyment of others.

Should we ascertain that your behavior or actions might result in harm to yourself or other members, we reserve the right to terminate your tour and take reasonable steps to rectify the situation. In this situation no compensation will be given.

By signing and returning the booking form you are acknowledging that you have read our booking conditions and accept full responsibility for your actions and behaviour whilst on tour, including any damage or loss caused by you or any members of your party.
