A Pair of Royal Lovers: Henry VIII & Anne Boleyn Portrait Set
[cincopa AsGAci6Xozo4]
From my original ink illustrations, based on contemporary portraits of England’s Queen Anne Boleyn (or Bullen) and of King Henry VIII.
Inspired by Shakespeare’s “Henry VIII”, the Tudor Portrait Series features some of the fascinating lead players in the historical court drama.
Passion, controversy, and extremes run high in this intelligent and cruel King.
Anne’s tragic, intriguing character has alternately beguiled and enraged us in her own time and thru the centuries. The signature is my own drawn copy of her own: “Anne the quene”
Each print is giclee printed on smooth, heavy, white paper and has the look of the original ink drawing.
SIZE: 8 x 12″ for easy framing, and a long, elegant proportion.
Artist signed, company stamp on reverse.
Each print is presented in individual cellophane sleeve for protection.
