  15. Bernard Gibson says:

My wife is(VERY distantly)related to Henry VIII AND his 1st wife,Katherine of Aragon, through their common ancestor, Katherine de Roet, mistress(&then 3rd wife)of John of Gaunt. Her maiden name is Kathleen Wroe. Not unusual, BUT note name similarity,&THE DNA CHECKS OUT WITH A KNOWN DESCENDANT.
Naturally, there is much interest in the history of the period.

  16. Lisa Wilson says:

I adore Anne Boleyn and would love a chance to have her representation on my tree!

  17. Bernard Gibson says:

Slight correction. Katherine of Aragon was descended from John of Gaunt&his 2nd wife,Constanza of Castilla. BUT, Henry’s affair with Mary Boleyn, Anne’s older sister, resulted in yet ANOTHER Katherine(Carey),who resembled her putative father very much, &,reputedly, she is the ancestor of yet another Catherine née Middleton, as well as Princess Diana AND Camilla!

  18. Absolutely Awesome! This is so exciting……thank you for such a wonderful idea and to all those that are bring such good cheer!
