I love everything about this time of year, always have but especially more now that I have my own children. We love trimming the tree on Dec 1st while listening to Christmas carols then snuggling up on the couch to watch all of our favourite Christmas movies. This little ornament would look lovely on my tree 😀

  2. Vicky Lewis says:

Beautiful! I’ve had my eye on this one for years! Xx

  3. Orsolya Dunai says:

What do I love? The unity of the season. That so many different races, colors, and ethnicities celebrating various holidays are still united at this time of year. Huge world and yet we are one. Happy holidays!

  4. Sonia Lind says:

Family, definately catching up with the family.

  5. Natalie, what a beautiful ornament! There are so many things I love about the holidays… speaking as someone who is still a student (now living far away from home in the UK for grad school), the holidays are an especially exciting time for me because they allow me to travel home and make the most of time with my family. There’s something cozy in the air at Christmastime, isn’t there? At home for me, that means spending long relaxing evenings in our wood-paneled living room, sipping hot tea or cocoa next to a roaring fire, and watching Christmas movies at any given opportunity. Long days inside when it snows – playing board games with my mom and brother, passing hours at my piano playing Christmas tunes, or lounging by a window with a novel, while intermittently watching the snow fall. Then, of course, there’s the excitement of shopping and preparing. While some people hate this part, I can’t get enough. I LOVE the mad dash to the stores to find the perfect gifts for my loved ones, and subsequently camping out in the basement for days on end to wrap every single present – which, without fail, takes me until about 11:58 pm on Christmas Eve. What’s NOT to love about the holidays? The music, the food, the atmosphere, the love and cheer are all so tangible in an exciting way that we don’t quite have at any other time of year. I’m an absolute Christmas fan (can’t say it enough!) and I’d love to hang this pretty Anne Boleyn ornament on my tree.

  6. I love spending the time with my family and having so much fun I almost lose my head .

  7. What I love most about Christmas is the traditions that me & mine hold dear.
We are in Canada, but still do as our ancestors did…Yule Log (tradional back in the day, ice cream ones too lol), tree, singing, etc.
More importantly it is togetherness, being as one and remembering that it is the little things that matter.:)

  8. Yummy treats and spending time with family.

  9. Hazel Jeremy says:

I am really looking forward to this year. It will be my newest granddaughter’s first Christmas! My two oldest granddaughters and my oldest daughter will also be there, whom we don’t see very often because they live out of town. My son will be doing their first Christmas dinner, so for once Indont have to! This has been a rough year for me health wise, so the break is well deserved after 30 years of making Christmas Dinner!! I will be able to relax and enjoy the company of my four children and their families and spend some quality time with all my granddaughters!

  12. Zoe Morgan says:

I am a big kid so have always loved Christmas especially buying presents for the family but since having my little girl it’s taken on a whole new meaning. Today our elf Evan came to visit us to make sure she behaves and she loves coming down in the morning to see where he is. Her face is a picture. X

Would love an Ann Boleyn on my tree, then it would be a good reason to buy the rest of the set. Love your website.

  14. Faye Butcher says:

I love the build up to Christmas as much as the day itself. Putting the decorations up and trimming the tree. Dark nights in front of the fire, Christmas films, the school carol concert. The kids getting excited as that magic feeling grows.

  15. Heather Osborne says:

Watching my son get excited about Santa for the first time and giving back to the community.

  16. Kathy Johnson says:

I used to enjoy holidays playing with my presents when I was a child, now I like it to of course, hope it will still happen without this important person who will not be with us this year.

The holiday season always takes me back to my childhood. It brings back that feeling of excitement of what’s to come on Christmas day, getting dressed in our best clothes and catching up with extended family. It’s a happy time. No matter what’s going on in the world or in life, I just always feel safe and happy and that’s what I like about the holiday season.

When I’m with my friends, we celebrate Christmas since not all of us are celebrating the other holidays. For me holiday season is a chance to show that we all come from lovely, different cultures and to show patience to others.

  33. Stephanie Newbrook says:

What I love most about the holiday season is the excitement it still stirs up in me, even as a middle-aged woman. I love the Christmas spirit into the people, the Christmas lights and decorations in each corner of the streets and into each house. I like the bright in the eyes of the children when they tell you what presents want for Christmas. The familiy and friends reunions and the smell of the kitchen when we bake Christmas biscuits or the turkey! =)

  49. I love that it is celebrated all over the world and it gives a real connection to friends and family everywhere. I love family time too!

  50. Hello Natalie! First of all I’d like to congratulate you for this amazing idea. First of all I’d like to say that I’m Greek, but tottaly in love with the Tudor dynasty, and the english history in general. My favorite historical figure though, has always been Anne Boleyn. Sadly it’s really impossible to find anything linked to her here. So I spend so much time just admiring all these fantastic Tudor things from afar. But enough with the rumbling. What I really love about the holidays is that you can be happy at all times without even trying. The atmosphere is so full of joy, and everyone is trying to be the best version of themselves! And it’s a season of realizing what a great privilege is to be a part of a family, and understan how important it is to care and help, not just during the holiday period, those who are less fortunate. Those who are poor and lonely. So Christmas days are like an everyday fairytale and I love them for it. Again congratulations for this wonderful gesture!
