There are so many things I love about the holidays. Being with my family is the main part. Decorating out tree, putting up our Christmas lights, putting together the Christmas village and watching Christmas movies while drinking a nice cup of hot chocolate. I especially enjoy reading Christmas books involving history. It helps you imagine how they lived their life and what they enjoyed doing on their holidays 🙂
I love everything about the Christmas season from finding the perfect tree to all the yummy food on our family Christmas dinner and everything in between!
What I love most about the holidays is spending time with my family and watching my beautiful babies open their Christmas gifts and seeing their bright smiles!
I love the excitement of my children.
I love the feeling of Family especially at this time of year. My Son will be having his first real Christmas too so this is also very exciting.
I love all the preparation for Christmas, wrapping gifts in front of the Christmas tree beside the fire.
What I love about the Holiday Season is the love and cheer it brings to people. There is just something about Christmas time that feels the most magical out of the whole year! Most of everyone seems to be in good spirits and Christmas seems to bring everyone together.
I love spending time with my family with no interruptions or work!
Would love to start a Tudor themed tree! 🙂
It’s a package deal – what I love about this time of year: it’s the whole season. The long festive feelings, drawn out lovingly across the months. The time with family, the lights, the sounds, the nog and songs… The smell of pine and nutmeg. The reminders of what is really important. It’s my favorite time of year 🙂
I love being with my family at christmas and seeing the joyful little faces of children as they hear tales of Santa and look out for snow. It’s such a joyous time in such a gloomy season. ???? I also love watching how groups of people come together and bond. Christmas really does bring people together; that means so much to me.
I love buying gifts for family and friends, the smell of Christmas , cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. I love sitting round the fireplace with my family and of course the tradition of watching loads if cheesey Christmas films!
All the decorations and the movies on tv seeing children lining up for santa in the malls all the new toys that come out (i am a child at heart)
I love to have my parents at my house for Christmas. They are both 87 now and I love to make their Christmas special, after all they made mine magical for many years!
I love the Christmas music, and the beautiful lights, and especially celebrating with my husband, kids and grandkids!
I LOVE all the christmas sweets ????
I love being able to spend time with my family and choosing their gifts carefully. But most of all, when I get in from work, and it’s bitterly cold outside, being able to curl up with a good book on the Tudors.
I love being able to spend time with friends and family. I love the joyful hope that overtakes the hearts of many!
I love the holiday season for many reasons. Mostly, it seems to bring out the compassion in others.
I love Christmas and everything about it. I love the decorations the presents (giving and receiving) the smells the foods. Everything. But more than anything I love the time you spend with your favourite people.
I love the traditions, particularly making recipes handed down from generations. I also love participating in newer traditions, activities that began in recent years and suddenly you realize you’re doing it every year. And hopefully they will continue beyond yourself, with your family and friends and their families.
i love his time of year as you make very very special memories for all the little people to enjoy and for them in their turn to pass on family traditions to the next generation. It’s a time too to look back and relive our own special traditions and so the cycle goes on – updated and tweeked !
I love this time of year because I can spend time with all my family and reflect on the year and whats truly important x We realize how lucky we really are.
I love listening to Christmas Carols
Hi I am entering in the contest because and this may sound crazy but one of my spirit guide is Anne her self and she ask are made sure I saw this contest so if there is any way I can win your or image for that would be nice:-) .
I love to see how many Tudor decorations I can sneak onto the tree before anyone notices……
My family also loves to celebrated Christmas together and I know it also all my guides do too:-) .
I love tradition. Music, food, decorations, seasonal entertainment–revisiting old favourites, sharing and passing the traditions along makes the season so special.
I love Christmas for several reasons!! The birth of our Savior, lights, trees, movies and time with family!!! The lights to me are not just beautiful but comforting, and add to the Christmas spirit I so enjoy!! The movies are cute and sweet, and help with the feeling of Christmas. Having hot chocolate with my kids and decorating the tree are also so important to me!! Getting to see all of my brothers and their kids on one day in one place is also so heart warming!! The fact that I can live because of Jesus also makes this holiday so important to me!! I guess Christmas all the way around is important to me because of the heart warming Christmas spirit!!
My favorite part of the holiday is the magical wonder it brings to my kids eyes. They are excited to wake up and look for their elves (Gustav and Emilia), they can’t get enough of the snow and the joy the thought of Santa brings to their faces Christmas morning makes me remember that feeling from when I was their age.
The joy in my sons eyes, the excitement on his face and true family traditions that are passed down from generation to generation.
I have many Christmas loves, the first one is putting up my miniature Christmas Village complete with Santa Training School!
I love Christmas it is my favourite time of year, together with loved ones family and friends. Watching my childrens faces is priceless. Midnight Mass, Family Dinner and giving of presents to those you love and remembering thoses less fortunate.
Spending the holiday season with my family as Christmas should be spent with the ones you love. Sadly one of my daughters won’t be able to make Christmas but is coming down from Welwyn Garden City to us in Leominster Herefordshire in late February early March. Love shopping for presents as I like to give. Love my family and my friends and hope everyone has a lovely Christmas
I love the seasonal festivities. Visiting Michelham Priory, East Sussex this Saturday where they are having a Tudor Christmas food and gift fair.
I like that the family makes an effort at Christmas time to get together
Family is the most important thing about Christmas and this year I have a new niece and a daughter on the way.
I love the traditions, family, the wonderful music, and all the great food that I never allow myself any other time of the year.
I love the get-togethers with family and friends, playing card or board games and laughing til our sides hurt while drinking Baileys-infused hot chocolate.
This time of year i really enjoy the challenge of making gifts for people and trying to make them bespoke. A combination of something they need that is unique, their style and to a high standard. Its great and now I have got all my family involved in craft making and upcycling. Christmas seems to cost a lot less and be a lot more meaningful and special these days 🙂
I enjoy seeing the wonder and excitement on the little faces of the children as the holiday season gets into full swing. I remember the excitement as a child when I went to bed on December 24th, hoping I’d been good enough for Santa to leave me something nice at the end of my bed, lying there trying to listen out for the sleigh bells but falling asleep every time without ever hearing them. As an adult the holiday season means spending valuable time with loved ones reminiscing on what the time of year means to us.
I love the smells of Christmas and the holiday season. The smell of the Christmas tree as it is decorated, the smell fof sugar cookes baking in the oven, the smell of scented candles, and the smell of wood burning in the fireplace.
I enjoy all the kids in the family enjoying their holiday!
I love family get togethers. That feeling of unity is so strong this time of year. I love reminiscing about Christmas pasts, keeping traditions, and making new traditions. It is always great looking at all the ornaments and telling the stories behind them.
I love Christmas time because of the vivid atmosphere, you can feel love is in the air…
I love the smell of my mum’s Christmas dinner cooking 😀 I also love putting the Christmas tree up with my mum and placing the ornament on there that is in memory of my Grandad <3
The holidays are the perfect time to spend time with those you don’t always get the chance to. I’ll never complain about the amount of desserts available too!
I love this time of year getting all the Christmas decorations up and its my first year having my own Christmas tree .Love Christmas shopping and the buzz of the whole season .
My absolute favorite thing about the holidays is sitting with my mom, rolling pound after pound of our Italian knot cookies. Every year, it’s a known fact that she has to make an extra batch because I always end up eating a fair share before we even get to ice them and put the sprinkles on! That smell of anisette and sugary icing just always puts me in a happy place.
My favourite part od the holiday season is the smile on the children’s faces oh and the turkey sandwiches lol
