About the Author

Nicola Tallis has a first class BA (Hons) in History from Bath Spa University. She also has an MA in Public History from Royal Holloway College, University of London. Nicola has been passionate about English history all of her life, and has worked as a curator, lecturer, and historical researcher. She is currently the resident historian for Alison Weir Tours. Crown of Blood is the result of five years of research on the Grey family, and is her first book. Elizabeth’s Rival: The Tumultuous Tale of Lettice Knollys, Nicola’s second book, is the first biography of this extraordinary Tudor lady.

  6. Oh my goodness, I hadn’t heard of this book! Letty Knollys is one of my all time favourite historical people! Loved Nicola’s first book. It was such a great read but obviously very thoroughly researched as well. Can’t wait to read anything and everything else she has written. Christmas has really come early just knowing this book exists! :O

If I would be lucky enough I want to have at least one of the books that will be given. I have many ebooks, but real book is better.   50. Oh so lovely book! It caught my eye a long time ago and I never got the chance to purchase it. Little is written about Elizabeth’s cousin Lettice and her personal life. I’ve heard the best about Nicola Tallis and I can’t wait to read it! Thank you Natalie!
