About the Author

Matt is an author and historian whose main interest lies in the late medieval period, particularly the Wars of the Roses and Richard III. Matt studied law at university but history has remained a keen interest since school.

To date, Matt has written two historical fiction novels centred on the Wars of the Roses and the early Tudor years and several non-fiction histories and biographies including Henry IIIRichard, Duke of York; The Survival of the Princes in the Tower and his most recent book is a full biography of the ever-controversial King Richard III.
