Years ago,in the 1990’s I was in a local theater, that during the production there was much heated debates about King Richard, a firery line of Pro and Anti Richard through the Cast and Production.
Attitude to Richard was quite negative around the 80’s and 90’s in History Classes.
In the theater the name only had to be mention the sparks of debate would fly.
A cast member whose name was Richard had a tee shirt printed up saying “Please call Me Chris”.
Finally the Director put a total ban on mentioning King Richard His plans to direct Richard 3 was put on hold.
I find today so many books and discussion about him, I look forward reading it sine I read the fiction A Fortunes wheel it started me reading more about Richard
