Dr Joanne Paul is an award-winning historian, consultant and writer with a passion for sharing her research on Renaissance and Tudor history. She has consulted for television with TLC and Amazon and appeared on a variety of programmes, including for BBC, Channel 5 and TLC. Having written for academic and student audiences on Thomas More (Polity, 2017) and counsellors in the Tudor Court (Cambridge University Press, 2020), her first trade book, The House of Dudley was a bestseller and named a book of 2022 by The Times, The Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph and History Today.
