I think that you missed Hever in your list of houses with connections to A.B.
They did! Hever is great although much of the focus is (well, used to be when I went there many years ago) on the Astor family.
If you visit Eltham Palace, I recommend a trip to Well Hall Pleasance and the Tudor Barn, about half a mile down the hill from the Palace in Eltham.
I was the home of Thomas Mores daughter, and he stayed there when he visited Henry VIII at the Palace.
Fantastic gardens and the Tudor Barn itself is a very decent bar and restaurant

I was up in Northamptonshire this weekend visting Fotheringhay (church and ruined castle). Fotheringhay Castle (a ruin) and the manor was given to each of Henrys 6 wives as part of her dowry when married. Catherine of Aragaon spent a lot of money doing up the castle and it became her main residence for a time. (I’m guessing Anne Boleyn never visited) The Castle was famous as the birthplace of many of the Yorkist line most notably Richarrd III and the place Mary Queen of Scots was beheaded. Fotheringhay Church used to be a great Abbey pre-Henry VIII and much of the stone went into surrounding buildings. The best pub in the area the Falcon (in Fotheringhay) was built from the Castle stone and takes its name from the standard of Richard III. If you travel to Oundle a few miles away you have the reputedly haunted Talbot Inn, that has supposidly the staircase from Fotheringhay Castle and along with it inherited the ghost of Mary Queen of Scots. Also nearby is Peterborough Cathedral, the burial site of Catherine of Aragon and before her son James Ist moved her body, Mary Queen of Scots.
